Robert Zimmel, CFA has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various financial roles. Starting in 2002 at Calyon, they served as the Vice President - Controller of Futures Commission Merchant, where they successfully transitioned accounting to the bank's general ledger system and enhanced it for FCM regulatory reporting.

Robert then moved on to FIMAT USA, LLC in 2005, taking on the role of Vice President - Financial Planning & Analysis. Here, they implemented client profitability reports and cost-per-unit projects, resulting in increased profits and revenues.

In 2006, Zimmel joined JPMorgan Chase as the Director of Hedge Fund Accounting, managing account relationships and developing an efficient operating model.

From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Hunt Financial Securities, LLC as the Controller & Financial & Operations Principal (FinOp). Here, they monitored net capital, created policies and procedures, and implemented risk-reducing controls.

In 2019, Zimmel joined Rockefeller Capital Management as a Financial & Operations Principal (FinOp), serving as an expert on regulatory reporting requirements and managing net capital.

Most recently, in 2022, they started working at MBX Clearing as the Financial and Operations Principal (FinOp), responsible for financial and regulatory reporting.

Robert Zimmel, CFA holds an MBA in Finance from Fordham University and a BBA in Managerial Sciences from Manhattan College. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including the CFA Institute PL Program in 2021, the Financial and Operations Principal (Series 27) from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in 2009, and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1993.
