Joseph Millard

Joseph Millard is an experienced exploration geologist with a comprehensive background in mineral physics and geology. Currently serving as an Exploration Geologist at McEwen Mining Inc. since April 2023, Joseph has previously held positions including Project Exploration Geologist at Coeur Mining, Inc., where responsibilities included managing technicians at a core logging shed and working on a low-sulfidation deposit. Joseph's experience with Nevada Gold Mines encompassed both open pit and underground ore control geology, involving digitization of geologic mapping and fault zone mining. Prior roles at Hecla Nevada and The University of Akron provided expertise in high-grade ore control and academic instruction, with a focus on rock mechanics and mineral physics research. Joseph holds a Master’s degree in Mineral Physics/Geology and a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from The University of Akron.
