Gibson Aia

Gibson Aia is an experienced geologist currently serving as a Mine Geologist at Harmony Gold Mining Company Limited since August 2022, under a secondment contract. Prior roles include Project Geologist at Kingston Resources Limited, and Contract Geotech Geologist at PanAust, where work involved geotechnical assessments and data management. Gibson's experience spans over six years at Era Resources Inc., engaging in diverse responsibilities including exploration, mapping, core supervision, and resource modeling at the Yandera Copper Moly Project. An earlier role at Pacific Niugini Minerals involved a compulsory industrial training period as a trainee geologist. Gibson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Papua New Guinea, obtained between 2008 and 2011.
