Denise Ellshoff is an experienced retail professional with over 30 years of experience in management and operations. Serving as the Store Manager for MC Sports since October 1999, Denise has developed strong leadership skills. Prior experience includes a role as Softlines Manager at Kmart Corporation from October 1989 to October 1999 and as a Journeyman Screen Printer at Sports Service, where responsibilities included screen printing and operating presses primarily for prominent motorsport events. Denise holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs/Public Management from Indiana University Bloomington, earned between 1989 and 1993, and completed a College/University Preparatory diploma at Mooresville High School, where studies were undertaken from 1986 to 1989.

MC Sports

Founded in 1946, MC Sports began as a single store operation in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The original name, Michigan Clothiers, reflected the wide range of products offered by the first store. From men’s clothing to military surplus, the original store was a favorite shopping destination for local residents. Refining its business strategy in 1962, the company changed its name to MC Sporting Goods and focused entirely on quality sports equipment, footwear and apparel.
