João Pedro Pereira

João Pedro Pereira is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy, innovation, marketing, and sustainability, currently serving as the Senior Head of Strategy, Innovation, Marketing & Sustainability at MCA since July 2021. Previously, João held the position of Head of Strategy, M&A, and Sustainability at Galp from September 2015 to July 2021, and served in various roles including Executive Assistant to the COO and Investor Relations Analyst at Deutsche Bank. Early career experience includes an internship in Private & Business Clients at Deutsche Bank and an Equity Research Internship at Espirito Santo Investment Bank. João holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from The University of Edinburgh and has completed advanced studies in Corporate Finance at Nova School of Business and Economics. Educational foundations were laid at Oporto British School, where João earned the International Baccalaureate and IGCSE.
