Michael Rawls

Michael Rawls has over 8 years of professional experience in the mechanical engineering field. Michael began their career in 2001 as an Owner/Operator and Subcontractor/Installer for Southern Staircase Company, where they designed and built custom staircases, kitchens and baths, and performed carpentry and finish work. In 2012, they joined Diverse Industries, Inc. as a Robot Programmer, where they analyzed and planned for more efficient production cycles, improved paths, and monitored and analyzed the total automation process. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Maintenance Technician at ZF Transmission, where they provided technical maintenance and troubleshooting in a highly automated and fast-paced environment. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as an Engineering Designer/Technician at AMS Automation Inc., where they gained diverse mechanical, electrical, and SolidWorks skills and experience. Finally, from 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at McAlister Design Inc., where they were the project lead for all phases of design on systems, machines, parts, and components.

Michael Rawls completed an Associates Degree in Mechatronics and a 3D Engineering Graphics Certificate from Greenville Technical College. Michael also obtained an Associate's degree in Mechatronics and a Certificate in 3D engineering from other training. Theirfield of study included Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics, and Automation Engineering.
