Jessica C. Gerrity, Ph.D. has a diverse range of work experience in academia, government, and consulting. Jessica C. is currently the Senior Vice President and Leader of the Higher Education Practice at McAllister & Quinn, where they provide strategic advice and manages the grants request process for clients. Prior to this role, they served as Vice President and Managing Director in the Higher Education practice at the same company.

Before joining McAllister & Quinn, Dr. Gerrity was a Research Manager for the Congress and Judiciary Section in the Government and Finance Division at the Congressional Research Service. In this role, they led research and consultative work on congressional administration, legislative branch appropriations, federal elections, and judicial nominations and administration for members of Congress and congressional staff.

Dr. Gerrity also has experience in academia, having been an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Washington College. During their time there, they taught courses in American politics and public policy, and they have received multiple awards, grants, and fellowships for their research. Their work has been published in scholarly journals and books.

In addition, Dr. Gerrity has held positions as an American Political Science Association Fellow in the United States Senate, a Research Assistant at Indiana University's Center on Congress, and a Research Verifier and Senior Research Assistant at The Brookings Institution.

Jessica C. Gerrity, Ph.D. obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Rochester in 1997. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts in Sociology from George Mason University, which they completed in 1999. Jessica C. then went on to Indiana University Bloomington, where they obtained their Ph.D. in Political Science in 2006.
