Owen Johnson

Owen Johnson serves as the Chief Information Officer at McAllister Towing since January 2022, driving the modernization of information infrastructure for the maritime company while overseeing critical connectivity across multiple ports and vessels. Additionally, Owen is a Senior Advisor at SeaAhead, contributing to a bluetech startup platform focused on innovative solutions in maritime industries. As the Founder and Chairman of Moveprice and a former Managing Partner at Betaspring, Owen has a strong background in technology entrepreneurship and startup development. Previous roles include Chief Technology Officer at Location, Inc., Founder and President of Rentometer and Rentomatic, and Founder and Managing Director of Interdimensions. Owen holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, complemented by study abroad experience in Berlin, Germany.
