Jin-Hong Cho has a solid work experience starting from their position as a Customer Service Representative at Shinhan Bank in 2013. They then transitioned to become an Accounting Associate and later a Risk Management Associate at the same company. Jin-Hong continued to climb the corporate ladder and became a Risk Management Supervisor at Shinhan Bank from January 2016 to April 2018. They then joined MCAN Financial Group in 2018 as a Senior Risk Analyst before being promoted to Manager, Risk Modelling & Analytics. Currently, Jin-Hong holds the position of Director, Risk Modelling & Analytics at MCAN Financial Group, which started in May 2022.
Jin-Hong Cho obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting from the University of Toronto Mississauga from 2007 to 2012. They also pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Economics and Business Management at Seoul National University from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, Jin-Hong Cho has several certifications, including the Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA, CMA) from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario in 2015 and the International Certificate in Banking Risk and Regulations (ICBRR) from the Global Association of Risk Professionals in 2014. They have also completed certifications in teamwork skills and data analysis with R from Coursera, as well as learning the R Tidyverse from LinkedIn.
