Shahzad Ishaq

Shahzad Ishaq serves as Group Head Digital Banking & Chief Digital Officer at MCB Bank Limited, where efforts focus on implementing the Digital Next 2021-24 transformation program and launching the MCB Live digital banking app. Previously, Shahzad led Consumer & Digital Banking, achieving significant profit growth despite pandemic challenges, and also succeeded in enhancing Privilege Banking initiatives. Prior experience includes the Head of Consumer Finance at Bank Alfalah Limited, where Shahzad drove substantial EBIT growth and spearheaded various digital transformation initiatives. Earlier roles at Citibank Europe PLC involved leadership in card portfolio management, sales, and merchant acquiring, significantly increasing sales and customer retention metrics. Shahzad holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Central Punjab and has completed executive education at INSEAD.
