Junaid Qamar

Junaid Qamar is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in sales and distribution management. Currently serving as the SEVP and Chief Sales & Distribution Officer at MCB Funds since May 2017, Junaid previously held the position of Director at the Financial Markets Association from January 2015 to December 2017. Prior to this, Junaid was the Head of Money Market & Fixed Income at Soneri Bank Limited and held multiple leadership roles at UBL Fund Managers, including Head of Corporate, Institutional & Islamic Sales and Head of Fixed Income Funds. Junaid's career began at Arif Habib Investments as a Senior Dealer in Debt & Money Market Funds, and Junaid also worked as a Deputy Treasury Manager at Pearson plc. Junaid holds an MBA in Finance & Investments from Wagner College and a BS in Accounting from the City University of New York-College of Staten Island, along with a CPA certification.
