Aart Fortanier

Aart Fortanier has extensive experience in executive leadership within the manufacturing and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Voorzitter Raad van Bestuur and CEO at VADO Beheer since May 2015, Aart also holds the position of President Commissaris at MCB. Previous roles include Managing Director for North-West Europe at Wavin, where Aart oversaw a significant revenue portfolio and multiple factories. As Senior Vice President at PROMENS, Aart led the rotomoulding division and was a member of the Group Executive Team. Aart's earlier experience includes managing director positions at Low & Bonar and technical roles at GE and Fokker Aircraft, alongside engineering work at Polynorm. Aart's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Delft University of Technology and an executive program at INSEAD.
