Mary Neveling has extensive work experience in finance roles. Mary started their career as an Accounts Assistant and then progressed to become a Management Accountant and Finance Manager at LEWIS Global Communications. Mary had a two-year secondment to the LEWIS San Francisco office, where they served as the Global Financial Controller and later as the Global Financial Controller and US Financial Controller. During this time, they were responsible for recruiting and training a US Finance Team and integrating the finance function of an acquired company.
In 2019, they joined McBains as the Financial Controller and was later promoted to the role of Director of Finance in July 2021.
Mary Neveling completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Information Systems and Management at Rhodes University from 1998 to 2001. Following that, they pursued further education in Management Accounting, first at BPP Professional Education from 2007 to 2010, and then at Kaplan Financial in 2011. Mary obtained a CIMA degree from both institutions during these periods.
