Mike Vandenheuvel

Mike VanDenHeuvel is a seasoned professional in media advocacy and public policy development, currently serving as Senior Account Director at McCabe Message Partners since August 2020. Prior experience includes Senior Manager of Media Advocacy at the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, where Mike led the creation and implementation of media strategies for various federal campaigns. Mike's background also features significant roles within the Wisconsin State Assembly, progressing from Legislative Aide to Senior Policy and Communications Aide, focusing on legislation and constituent services. Earlier experiences include organizing grassroots campaigns for the Common Purpose Project and Kreitlow for Congress, as well as completing internships with the Office of State Representative Jill Billings and the Russ Feingold Senate Committee. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Spanish Language from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
