Rachel Griffith has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Rachel began their career as the Communications Director for John Sparks for State Senate in 2006, where they managed media and correspondence for the campaign. From 2007 to 2010, Rachel worked at the Close Up Foundation, first as an Account Manager, responsible for recruiting and retaining schools for their program, and then as a Program Instructor, teaching students about civic engagement and involvement in Washington, D.C.
In 2010, Rachel joined the Society for Women's Health Research (SWHR) as the Communications and Event Manager, where they handled all communications and media outreach for the non-profit organization. Rachel also established strong connections with the media and coordinated meetings with prominent congressional members.
From 2012 to 2014, Rachel worked as the Communications Manager for the National Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition, specifically managing communications for their mobile health initiative, Text4baby. Rachel successfully implemented a media campaign, created various communications materials, and secured coverage by major media outlets.
In 2014, Rachel joined GYMR Public Relations as an Account Supervisor, providing counsel to issue-based advocacy organizations. Rachel was responsible for building relationships with the media, managing a Google+ Hangout series, and providing web and media support for clients.
Most recently, Rachel served as a Senior Director and then as the Vice President at McCabe Message Partners, starting in 2016. Details about their roles and responsibilities in these positions are not provided.
