Amanda Halacy

Amanda Halacy currently serves as the Senior Director of Strategy and Development at McCabe World Travel since March 2023. Prior to this role, Amanda held positions as Digital Strategist and Senior Strategist at Forum One from 2020 to May 2023. Experience also includes working with IMPACT Initiatives, where Amanda conducted Third Party Monitoring for significant cash transfer programs funded by DFID. As a freelancer between 2018 and 2019, Amanda managed a biodynamic winery and engaged in web design and UX projects abroad. Contributions to the startup ecosystem were made as a Fellow with Venture For America and as a product manager at Aces Health, where strategic partnerships were secured. Amanda co-founded HackCville, establishing a comprehensive network for entrepreneurs and enriching community engagement. Additional experience encompasses research roles in agriculture and innovative storytelling programs. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Global Development and Social Entrepreneurship from the University of Virginia and furthered education at various esteemed institutions.
