Sophie Paradis

Sophie Paradis is a lawyer at McCague Borlack LLP since September 2023, previously serving as an articling student at Rasmussen Starr Ruddy LLP from September 2022 to June 2023. Sophie gained valuable legal experience as a law student intern at Villeneuve Litigation | Wills & Estates in early 2021 and at Cliche-Rivard Avocats during the summer of 2020. Prior to legal roles, Sophie worked as an event server at COOP - Collège Boréal and as a cashier and sales associate at Giant Tiger from 2014 to 2019. Educationally, Sophie completed a Doctor of Law (JD) at the University of Ottawa from 2019 to 2022 and holds a Bachelor of Arts specializing in Law and Justice with a minor in Psychology from Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne, obtained in 2019.
