Karen mac Wallach

Karen Mac Wallach has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a homebound teacher and technology help desk professional at the Special School District of St. Louis County since July 2017. Karen has also held the position of Education Specialist at McCallum Place Eating Disorder Centers since November 2018. Previous roles include a math teacher at Gateway Science Academy and Our Lady of the Pillar School, as well as math instruction and tutoring at Bayless School District. Earlier in their career, Karen gained experience as a substitute teacher at Kirkwood School District and as an accountant at various organizations, including Los Angeles Magazine and Advanced Graphics Engineering. Karen holds a Master's in Education Technology from Southwest Baptist University and a B.S. in Business Administration from San Diego State University, along with a Missouri Teaching Certificate in middle school math and social studies.

McCallum Place provides expert, compassionate care for the treatment of eating disorders including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, compulsive exercise and obesity related to eating disorder behaviors. Located in St. Louis, Missouri and Kansas City, Kansas, we offer programs for males and females, adults and adolescents, as well as The Victory Program, a specific treatment program designed for athletes and dancers struggling with eating disorders.
