Development Operations Specialist at McCallum Theatre

Lara Arguelles is the current Development Operations Specialist at McCallum Theatre. Prior to their current position, they served as the President & CEO of East County Performing Arts Center from June 1997 to September 2000. Lara also served as the Executive Director of Paramount Theater Foundation from December 1995 to December 1996. From September 2000 to June 2012, Lara served as the Director of Presentations and Theater Operations at McCallum Theatre. Prior to their work at McCallum Theatre, Lara was the Music Producer for the Cultural Olympiad with the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games from December 1993 to December 1995. Her first professional position was with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra as the Chastain (Pops) Director from December 1991 to December 1993.

Lara Arguelles has a Master of Music from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Music from the University of The Arts. Lara also went to Marple Newtown High School.

Lara Arguelles works with Thomas Head - AVP of Development, Dawn Brenner-Plonski - Director of Development Operations, and Ratna Williams - Director of Major Gifts & Annual Giving. Lara Arguelles reports to Yvonne C. Bell, VP of Development.
