Daryl Somma has extensive work experience in the healthcare advertising industry. Daryl started their career at the World Health Organization as an intern in the Health and Human Rights team. Daryl later joined AIDS and Child as an intern, conducting research on health and demographics in African countries. Daryl then worked as a Researcher & Writer at the Swiss Tropical Institute, where they collaborated with a team to research and analyze data for international publication and policy pieces. Daryl also served as a Consultant at the United Nations Joint Programme on HIV/AIDS. In 2007, Daryl transitioned to the advertising field, working as a Senior Strategic Planner at Saatchi & Saatchi Healthcare Advertising. Daryl developed strategic brand development, facilitated creative workshops, and partnered with clients in market research and brand insight roles. In 2010, Daryl joined CDM New York as a VP Senior Account Planner, later becoming an SVP Account Planner. Currently, Daryl holds the position of Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at McCann Health New York, where they oversee the company's strategy and leads the executive team.
Daryl Somma completed a BA in Anthropology at Skidmore College from 1995 to 1999. Later, from 2000 to 2002, Daryl pursued an MPH degree in International Public Health at Boston University.
