Loyiso Twala has a diverse and extensive work experience in the advertising and marketing industry. Loyiso started their career as a Junior Art Director at Draftfcb in 2003 and then worked as a Co-Founder at Platoon Branding And Communications in 2004. Loyiso later joined The Agency for Advertising and Marketing as a Junior Art Director in 2005 and then transitioned to the role of Art Director at Joe Public in 2006. Loyiso continued to grow in their career and became a Senior Art Director at The Agency for Advertising and Marketing from 2007 to 2012. During this time, they also held the role of Creative Director at FCB Activist from 2012 to 2020, where they led the creative department and achieved notable awards and nominations. Loyiso then joined FCB Joburg as a Creative Director from 2016 to 2020, working on major accounts such as ABSA/Barclays Africa and BrandSA. In 2020, they took on the role of Executive Creative Director at DraftLine JNB, leading a multi-skilled creative team and driving creative excellence for SAB AbInBev's brand portfolio across Africa. Currently, Loyiso is the Chief Creative Officer at McCann Joburg, where they lead a team of creative agency professionals and focuses on crafting innovative and distinct creative solutions for local and global brands.

Loyiso Twala completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PDM) from Wits Business School - Graduate School of Business Administration in 2011-2012. Earlier, from 2000 to 2003, Loyiso earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Branding and Communications from Vega, School of Branding, specializing in Art Direction.
