Darren Clark has over 25 years of experience in the audiovisual industry. Darren is currently the Director of Engineering at McCann Systems, a leading audiovisual solutions company. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Design Engineer at HB Communications for 13 years, where they were responsible for designing and implementing audiovisual projects of various scales. Before that, they served as a Project Manager at Scharff Weisberg, specializing in designing and integrating large-scale audiovisual systems. Earlier in their career, Darren was the Director of Special Effects at Eerie Entertainment, where they managed the technical aspects of themed restaurant design and installation, including audio, video, lighting, and animatronic systems.

Darren Clark, CTS-D, CTS-I, LEED-AP, pursued their education to enhance their expertise in Technical Design and Production, Technical Theatre, and Theatre Design and Technology. From 1985 to 1989, they attended the University of Connecticut, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology. Later on, from 1989 to 1992, they continued their education at Yale University, where they obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Technical Design and Production. These educational milestones served as the foundation for Darren Clark's professional development in the field of technical design and production.
