Frances Pharr

Frances Pharr is a seasoned UX/UI Design Lead at McCann New York, managing a digital innovation team focused on branding and user-centered design for global companies since November 2021. As an Adjunct Associate Professor at Pratt Institute, Frances has been teaching graduate courses related to contemporary design issues and critical perspectives since May 2016, also serving as secondary thesis advisor and committee member. Frances has experience as a Freelance Designer, providing creative direction for various institutions, and previously held the role of Senior Art Director at The New School, where award-winning projects were created to engage the university community. Additional teaching roles include Adjunct Faculty at Rhode Island School of Design and guest lecturer at Princeton University. With a background in art direction at Sub Rosa and Interbrand, Frances has developed strategic design solutions for major brands and completed an MFA in Communications Design from Pratt Institute.
