Kent L.

Kent L. currently serves as the Workforce and Community Engagement Manager at McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., a role held since June 2022. Previously, Kent worked as the Business Programs Engagement Administrator for the City of Phoenix and held multiple positions at the Arizona Department of Transportation, including Small Business and Workforce Development Officer and DBE Supportive Services Program Manager. Notable achievements include receiving the Women in Transportation Seminar Rosa Parks Leadership Award and the AMCA Advocate of the Year Award in 2016 for contributions to EEO compliance and workforce development. Kent has also served in the US Air Force Reserve focusing on Fuels Management and is pursuing a degree at Arizona State University, with an earlier attainment of an Associate's degree in Arts from Phoenix College.
