Alias Martinez

Alias Martinez is a designer at MCCARTHY NORDBURG. Previously, they interned at Hollis + Miller Architects from January 2020 to August 2020, where they had the opportunity to work on aintern led project as well as design team projects. They also sat in on client meetings and presented to clients. Their skills acquired during their time at Hollis + Miller Architects include communication, client interaction, and presentation development.

Prior to their time at Hollis + Miller Architects, Alias Martinez was a Challenge Course Facilitator at Kansas State University from May 2016 to May 2019. As a Facilitator, they were responsible for running student and professional groups through a team building low and high ropes course. The skills they acquired during their time at Kansas State University include leadership and communication.

Alias Martinez served in the United States Marine Corps from May 2015 to May 2021 as an Ammunition Technician and Fire Team Leader responsible for Marines in Fire Team. The skills they acquired during their time in the Marine Corps include leadership, calm under pressure, responsibility, and accountability.

Alias Martinez completed a Master's degree in Interior Architecture and Product Design from Kansas State University. Prior to that, they completed their high school diploma in the same field from Bishop Miege High School.
