Matt Kenney is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in software development and operational leadership. Currently serving as Chief Technical Officer and Co-founder of GovBuilt since May 2019, Kenney oversees product development and client success, focusing on creating sustainable strategies for government software solutions. Previously, Kenney held dual roles as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Imagemakers Inc, where strategic planning and Agile processes were emphasized. At CivicPlus, Kenney progressed through various leadership roles, ultimately becoming Director of Product Engineering, managing mergers and acquisitions and leading development transitions to Agile methodologies. With a solid foundation in technology management and multiple degrees from Kansas State University, Kenney combines technical expertise with strategic vision to drive innovation and efficiency in technology projects.
