Dan Dowis

Dan Dowis has extensive experience in shared services and management, currently engaged in fishing since January 2022. Previously, Dan served as the Director of the McClatchy Shared Services Center at The McClatchy Company from 2006 to the present, following a role as Director of Shared Services within the same organization. Dan was a member of the Management Board at SP Newsprint Co. from 1992 to 2008 and held positions as General Manager at Knight Ridder Shared Services, Inc. and Director of Newsprint and Supply at Knight Ridder from 1998 to 2005. Dan earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Miami Herbert Business School between 1989 and 1992.
