Pete Sweeney

Pete Sweeney is an experienced sports journalist and analyst, currently serving as the Chiefs beat writer for McClatchy Media and providing insights on the Kansas City Chiefs as an analyst for KSHB and Sports Radio 810. With a background that includes leading Arrowhead Pride as Editor in Chief and hosting "Arrowhead Pride Radio," Pete has demonstrated expertise in covering the Chiefs extensively, managing content and contributing to sports media. Previous roles include reporting for the Kansas City Chiefs, working in baseball operations for the Tampa Bay Rays and New York Yankees, and involvement with the New York Jets. Pete holds a Master of Science in Broadcast & Digital Journalism from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from the State University of New York Cortland.
