Josh Doughan

Josh Doughan has extensive experience in the field of surveying and project management. Josh began their career as a Survey Technician at Polk County Engineering Department in 2001 before moving to Civil Engineering Consultants, Inc. as a Survey Technician in 2001. In 2002, Josh joined Snyder & Associates, Inc. and served as a Survey Crew Chief until 2010, focusing on construction layout and preliminary surveys for various large-scale projects. Josh then became a Project Manager at Snyder & Associates, Inc., where they supervised field personnel, managed multiple project types, and handled client relations and business development. In 2014, Josh joined McClure Engineering Company as a Project Manager and later became the Survey Team Leader. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President - Survey at McClure Engineering Company, showcasing their leadership and expertise in the surveying field.

Josh Doughan has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from Simpson College, which they obtained between 2007 and 2009. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Administration from Des Moines Area Community College from 2006 to 2007. In 2000 to 2001, they attended Iowa State University, studying Civil Engineering without obtaining a degree. Additionally, they have a certification in Continuing Education: MLS, sUAS, LiDAR, and the SX10 from Trimble, obtained in 2022.
