Melba Acosta

Melba Acosta, Esq., CPA, serves as an Independent Director on the Board of Directors at the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York since January 2023. Additionally, Acosta has been a Counsel in the Corporate Department at McConnell Valdés LLC since January 2017, offering legal advice on corporate and regulatory matters to various institutions and corporations. Acosta's prior roles include serving as President and Chair of the Board and Chief Public Finance Officer at the Government Development Bank for Puerto Rico, and Secretary of the Treasury and Chief Public Finance Officer at the Department of the Treasury, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
