Laurence Leavitt

Laurence Leavitt is a legal professional with extensive experience in handling complex, catastrophic fire and explosion claims throughout the United States. Currently serving as a Principal at McCoy Leavitt Laskey LLC since April 2013, Laurence leads the firm's focus on pre-litigation investigation and management, as well as litigation in cases taken to court. Previous roles include Partner at Friedman Gaythwaite Wolf & Leavitt from October 1987 to March 2013 and Law Clerk to the Honorable D. Brock Hornby at the United States District Court in Portland, ME, from September 1986 to August 1987. Laurence holds an A.B. in History from Dartmouth College and a J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law.
