Engineering Summer Student at McDaniel

Lucca Conforto's work experiences are as follows:

1. Engineering Summer Student at McDaniel in 2023.

2. Student Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer at the Student Organization for Aerospace Research starting in September 2022. In this role, they are part of a design team constructing a hybrid rocket and is responsible for designing, optimizing, testing, and manufacturing the hybrid engine's flight-worthy combustion chamber.

3. Energy Literacy Connector at the SPE Canadian Educational Foundation from June 2022 to December 2022. Lucca was the main researcher for the organization's Energy Literacy Project and produced a comprehensive program development report.

4. Expeditor at Cactus Club Cafe from May 2022 to August 2022. In this role, Lucca acted as a quasi-manager, coordinating a team of up to 30 people and ensuring efficient operation of the kitchen.

Lucca Conforto began their education at the School of the Nations, where they completed their high school diploma. They also obtained the AP Capstone and AP International Scholar Diploma, although the specific duration of their studies at this school is not provided.

In 2017, Lucca Conforto attended the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) for an unspecified length of time. While at CTY, they focused on engineering studies.

Currently, Lucca Conforto is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Aerospace Engineering at the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary. This program is expected to run from 2021 to 2025.
