Daniel Cox

Daniel Cox, MBA, CCP has a diverse work experience in HR operations and technology. Daniel is currently the Director of HR Operations & Technology at McDermott Will & Emery since 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President of HR Operations at ExecOnline from 2021 to 2023. Daniel also worked as the Senior Director of HR Operations at ExecOnline from 2021 to 2023. From 2020 to 2021, Daniel worked at McDermott Will & Emery as the Director of HR Operations & Technology. Before that, they were the Director of HRIS & Compensation at Advance Financial from 2019 to 2020. Daniel has also worked extensively at McDermott Will & Emery, serving as the Director of HRIS & Compensation from 2018 to 2019, Senior HRIS & Staff Compensation Manager from 2016 to 2017, HRIS & Staff Compensation Manager from 2015 to 2016, and HRIS Analyst from 2014 to 2015. In addition, Daniel has experience as a Human Resources Consultant and Human Resources Assistant at Tandem HR from 2013 to 2014.

Daniel Cox, MBA, CCP attended Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management from 2020 to 2022 and earned an Executive MBA. Daniel completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree with a major in Spanish and a minor in Business. Additionally, in 2011 to 2012, they participated in a Study Abroad program at the Universitat de Barcelona focusing on Spanish culture and language studies. Throughout their career, they have also obtained several certifications, including a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) from WorldatWork in 2016 and a Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) from WorldatWork in 2018. Furthermore, they have acquired additional certifications in Developing Incentive Structures from The Wharton School, Enhancing Team Wellbeing from Duke Corporate Education, and The Business Technology Toolkit from MIT Sloan Executive Education, all obtained in the years 2022 and 2023.
