Lisa Gerson

Lisa Gerson is a partner at McDermott Will & Emery, specializing in litigation with a focus on complex tort and multidistrict litigation, product liability, environmental law, contracts, and employment matters since September 2006. Gerson possesses extensive experience in areas such as fact and expert discovery, electronic discovery issues, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation, along with providing counsel on pre-litigation contracts and employment matters. Previously, Gerson served as a litigation associate engaged in complex tort and multidistrict litigation, handling duties such as overseeing fact discovery and drafting various legal documents. Gerson's early experience includes a role as a research assistant for the Georgetown Law Center Workplace Flexibility Initiative and internships with the Institute for Justice and Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder. Gerson holds a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA in Economics with a minor in Film from the University of Pennsylvania.
