Chris Phillips

Chris Phillips is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as the PI Attorneys’ Team Lead and Trial Attorney at McDivitt Law Firm since October 2019, handling a range of personal injury cases. Prior experience includes General Counsel at SENEX FOUNDATION, INC., where responsibilities encompassed negotiating business transactions and managing outside counsel. Chris developed specialized litigation skills as Allstate Staff Counsel, focusing on Auto Negligence and Premises Liability Defense, and represented the City of Rochester in numerous jury and court trials as Assistant City Attorney II. Additionally, Chris gained foundational trial experience as Assistant Public Defender after completing extensive training in trial techniques and previously contributed to education as a Charter Corps Member with Teach For America. Chris holds a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
