John Folfas III

John Folfas has a diverse professional background in education and athletics. Currently serving as an educator at McDonogh School since 2009, John Folfas specializes in Physical Education for Middle and Lower school students, while also teaching Science, Social Studies, and Wellness. Additionally, John Folfas is the Middle school Advisor and directs a softball summer camp. Prior to this role, John Folfas was the Varsity Softball Head Coach and Athletic Director at Ruxton Country School from 2000 to 2009, where responsibilities included organizing athletic programs and teaching Physical Education and academic subjects. Earlier experience includes directing funeral services at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel and serving as Athletic Director and educator at The Valley Academy. John Folfas holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with a minor in Geography from Towson University and an Associate's degree in Funeral Service and Mortuary Science from the Community College of Baltimore County.
