Erik Johnson has been the Midland Operations Manager at McDowell & Associates since 2001, overseeing the daily operations of the GeoEnvironmental Engineering office and providing support for various environmental projects, including materials testing and geotechnical investigations. Prior to this role, Erik worked as an Environmental Scientist, conducting environmental site assessments and inspections, along with field sampling and data analysis. Erik’s career began at Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Directors as an Associate from 1992 to 2001. Erik holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Conservation from Northern Michigan University, earned between 1995 and 1999, and completed high school at Midland High School from 1993 to 1995.
