Anita Bhatt

Anita Bhatt is an experienced Environmental Engineer and Project Manager currently employed at McElhanney since November 2020. Prior to this role, Anita worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Saskatchewan, where research focused on youth migration patterns from forest and natural resource communities, resulting in a published paper in the Land Journal. Anita's internship with the North Saskatchewan River Basin Council involved stakeholder engagements analyzing the impacts of flooding on culvert infrastructure. Previous experience also includes serving as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of the West Indies, providing education on pollution management, and holding a Senior Associate Consultant position at Winefield & Associates, where Anita developed air quality regulatory compliance strategies. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Sustainable Environmental Management from the University of Saskatchewan, a Master's in Civil & Environmental Engineering from UCLA, and a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from the University of the West Indies.
