Matt McComb

Matt McComb is a Product Engineer at McGard since May 2023, bringing valuable experience from MGA Research Corporation where roles included Deputy Director of Lab Operations and Battery Test Engineer from September 2021 to May 2023. In these positions, Matt supported the development of next-generation electric vehicle batteries through abuse and safety testing at the cell level, while applying a strong knowledge of battery testing standards to create effective test plans. Experience also includes a summer internship at Post Material Handling in 2018, where Matt contributed to the design of industrial lifts and collaborated with engineers on project requirements. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo, completed in 2021.
