Heather Miller

Heather Miller has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Heather started their career as an Audit Intern at Deloitte in 2003. Heather then worked as a Graduate Assistant at Texas A&M University in 2003.

In 2004, Heather joined the Texas Department of Transportation as a Marketing Executive, where they developed branding and promotions for statewide toll marketing efforts. Heather also managed the marketing agency during their tenure.

From 2005 to 2007, Heather worked at GSD&M as an Integration Manager for SBC/AT&T and later as an Interactive Account Manager for Legacy Foundation's BecomeAnEX. Heather managed online teams and was responsible for client relations, strategy development, and creative execution for website properties. Heather also oversaw the production of television ads for a national smoking cessation campaign.

Heather then joined Sentient Services in 2008 as a Sr. Interactive Account Manager, where they worked for a few months. Later that year, they joined EnviroMedia Social Marketing as an Account Director. In this role, they managed accounts and oversaw agency new business, totaling millions of dollars.

In 2013, Heather had two positions. First, they worked as the Director of Marketing at Outbox Inc, where they were responsible for marketing sales funnel, growth hacking, PR communications, and planning for shutting down the company. Later in the same year, they became the Director of Marketing + Growth at Able Lending, a fintech startup, where they focused on acquisition channels and customer adoption.

Heather's most recent position is at McGarrah Jessee, where they started in 2016. Heather has held various roles in the company, including Account Director for SkinnyPop, Group Account Director for Whataburger, SkinnyPop, Brooks Running, and Outdoor Voices, and currently, they serve as the Head of Brand Management and Group Brand Director for Whataburger.

Throughout their career, Heather has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a focus on driving business growth and success for the companies they have worked with.

Heather Miller obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting from Texas A&M University, where they studied from 2000 to 2002. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Masters of Science degree in Marketing at Texas A&M University from 2002 to 2004.
