Lindy Tracey

Program Director at MCGAW YMCA

Lindy Tracey has a diverse work experience spanning various educational and recreational institutions. Starting in 2010, they served as the Paddle Sports Director at YMCA Storer Camps until 2014. In 2012, they joined Albion College as a Resident Assistant and Dean Aquatics Center Lifeguard. Lindy then worked briefly at YMCA of Greater Seattle as a Unit Director and Outdoor Environmental Educator. In 2015, they joined Clover Park School District as a Middle School Math and Science Teacher and Girls and Boys Swim & Dive Coach. Lindy also had roles at Moses Lake School District, where they served as an ASB Senior Class Advisor, Assistant Coach - Softball, Head Coach - Boys Swim and Dive, Co-Manager - Tony St. Onge Pool of Dreams, Head Coach - Girls Swim and Dive, and a Teacher. Their most recent position is as the Program Director at McGaw YMCA, starting in 2022.

Lindy Tracey holds a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership, which was obtained from Gonzaga University School of Leadership Studies between the years 2020 and 2022. Prior to that, Lindy pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Biology with an environmental focus, Mathematics, and Secondary Education at Albion College from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, Lindy obtained a certification as an American Red Cross Lifeguard Safety Instructor from the American Red Cross in January 2022.
