Isabel Kim

Research Collaborator at McGill University

Isabel Kim is currently engaged as a Breast Cancer Reconstruction Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at UBC School of Nursing and is a PhD candidate in Medical Genetics at The University of British Columbia. Isabel has collaborated on various research projects at McGill University, focusing on bacteriophage genomics and government responses to the COVID-19 pandemic while also contributing to the McGill Science Undergraduate Research Journal. In addition, Isabel serves as a COVID-19 Research Infographic Designer at Tidbit and is involved with The Friends of the MUHC in raising healthcare awareness. Leadership roles include VP Academics for the McGill Korean Students' Society and serving as a First Year Representative. Isabel holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Immunology from McGill University and is expected to complete a PhD in Human/Medical Genetics at The University of British Columbia by December 2026.
