Joanne Liu, MDCM, FRCPC, currently serves as a Commissioner for The NUS-Lancet Pandemic Readiness, Implementation, Monitoring, and Evaluation (PRIME) and is a member of the Council of Expert Advisors on Canada's Biomanufacturing and Life Sciences Strategy. With extensive experience in humanitarian and global health settings, Joanne is an active member of various boards including the Global Listening Project, The New Humanitarian, and the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue. As a Professor in the School of Population and Global Health at McGill University and a Paediatric Emergency Physician at CHU Sainte-Justine, Joanne contributes to medical education and emergency care. Joanne's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from McGill University, a residency in Pediatrics, and a Master's degree in Management from the same institution, complemented by specialized training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Tropical Medicine.
