Joseph Hackett

Joseph Hackett has extensive experience in the field of education, currently serving as the Supervisor of Student Teachers at McGill University since 2006, where mentorship and evaluation of Education students during their practice teaching stages is a primary responsibility. In addition to supervisory duties, Joseph Hackett has lectured on the Theory and Methodology of Teaching English Language Arts and History at the secondary level, with a course titled "Practical Magic in Education." Prior to McGill, Joseph Hackett worked as a teacher at the English Montreal School Board from 1971 to 2006, during which time instruction was provided in English Language Arts and Canadian History at Rosemount High School. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in History from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in History from Loyola College in Montreal, complemented by a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education from McGill University.
