Roberta Thomson is an experienced Course Instructor with a focus on Accessible Learning and Universal Design for Learning, currently teaching at McGill University and LaSalle College since 2009. Thomson has developed and facilitated inclusive educational opportunities in various subjects, including First Nations and Inuit Education, Special Care Counselling, and Early Childhood Education. Additionally, experience includes serving as an Assistive Technology Coach for the First Nations Education Steering Committee and coordinating projects aimed at implementing Universal Design for Learning across multiple post-secondary institutions in Montreal. Thomson is also recognized as a Lead Book Chapter Author for the second edition of "Universal Design in Higher Education: From Principles to Practice." Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from Concordia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Acadia University.
