Sofiane Berrazouane

Sofiane Berrazouane, PhD, is a postdoctoral researcher at McGill University since April 2022, specializing in the discovery and development of drugs targeting resistant cancers through various advanced techniques including cell-based assays and molecular biology methods. Prior to this role, Berrazouane completed a PhD at Université Laval from 2016 to 2021, focusing on the efficiency and mechanisms of action of new anti-cancer therapies. Berrazouane's earlier experience includes working as a research fellow at CRCHUQ and CHU de Québec, where project management and drug discovery were emphasized, along with innovations in biomarker identification related to HIV infections. Berrazouane's academic background also includes a Master’s degree in Immunology and Microbiology from Université Laval.
