Phillip Schmandt is a distinguished lawyer with extensive experience in various legal roles. As a Partner at McGinnis, Lochridge & Kilgore since September 2003, Phillip also serves as the Chair of the Technology Practice Group. From 2008 to August 2012, Phillip held the position of Chair on the City of Austin Electric Utility Commission. Phillip began a legal career at Jones Day as an Associate from January 1989 to September 2003, with a tenure that included time in Austin, Frankfurt, Houston, and Kuwait. Educationally, Phillip earned a JD from The University of Texas School of Law between 1987 and 1990, following a Bachelor’s degree from The Johns Hopkins University from 1979 to 1983.
