Kylie Brown is an Associate in MKCI’s Hartford, Connecticut office. Her practice focuses on general liability and effectively assisting clients in insurance defense matters.
Prior to joining MKCI, Kylie worked at a boutique firm focusing on all aspects of business litigation representing both large corporate clients and small businesses in matters involving employment discrimination claims and termination agreements including non-compete agreements. Kylie also served as an Assistant Clerk for the Judicial District of New Britain where she supervised the clerk’s office and assisted self-represented parties and attorneys with the judicial flow of their cases. After leaving the State, Kylie joined a personal injury firm as a Law Clerk drafting memoranda, researching legal issues, and preparing motions.
Kylie obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Western New England University School of Law in Springfield, MA. During law school, Kylie was asked to participate as an intern for the Hampden County Bar Association’s Pro Bono Committee. She received the Access to Justice Award for her work in observing and reporting on the pro bono efforts throughout the county as well as providing her recommendations on how to bridge the gap and create better access to justice. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Public Affairs from Lasell College. She continues to give back to her Alma Mater by attending college events involving seniors who are interested in careers in law.
