Patrick Donnelly

Patrick Donnelly is a Senior Associate in MKCI’s Syracuse, New York office. Patrick is a problem solver with extensive experience representing private sector and municipal clients in civil litigation and appellate practice in state and federal court. Patrick has represented clients in complex litigation and administrative proceedings involving environmental law, torts, breach of contract, construction law, property valuation, property tax certiorari, eminent domain, land use law, municipal law, and insurance defense.

Patrick has been recognized by Super Lawyers, a lawyer rating service by Thomson Reuters, as a Rising Star and as a Super Lawyer and Top-Rated Environmental Attorney.

Patrick received his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Pace University School of Law. Patrick was an Editor of the Pace Environmental Law Review and obtained an Environmental Law Certificate, which required courses on toxic torts and environmental regulation. Patrick was asked by his professors to draft the Bench Brief for Pace’s National Environmental Moot Court and was on the Dean’s List and a University Merit Scholar. During law school, Patrick helped represent individuals injured by air pollution from the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center. Patrick earned a Master's of Public

Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, with a concentration in Environmental Policy. Patrick also obtained a Bachelor of Science, cum laude, in Marine Science from Southampton College.
