Russ Johnston

Russ Johnston has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Russ currently works as the Director of Sales & Marketing at The McGowan Companies since May 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Conway Holdings Group from September 2021 to May 2023. Before that, they were the Western Regional Sales Director at Aon Programs from June 2018 to August 2021. Russ also held the position of Regional Sales Director at Aon Risk Solutions from July 2016 to August 2021. Russ has also worked as a Vice President of Conway E&S Insurance Services, Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at Gorst & Compass Insurance, and Vice President of Conway Insurance Services West at Conway E&S. Additionally, Russ founded and served as the Executive Director of We Minus Me. Russ started their career as a Realtor and Real Estate Investor at Keller Williams Realty Charleston and worked as a Golf Professional at High Point Country Club.

Russ Johnston earned a Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing/Management from The University of Akron, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Russ then pursued further education at Fuller Theological Seminary, where they obtained a Master's degree in Divinity (MDiv) specializing in Theology, completing their studies from 2009 to 2014.
